Job Title: LPN/STNA for School Nurse Assistant needed - Company: Location: columbus, OH Description: Certified School Nurse?s Aide Total Education Solutions (TES) is the leading national provider of outsourced special education compliance and staffing solutions to public education agencies. TES currently provides compliance and staffing solutions to over 200 public and charter school sites, representing 70 school districts and 35 Special Education Governing Entities. Seeking individuals to provide vision and hearing screening (as needed) as part of the assessment process to determine eligibility for special education services to meet the unique needs of special education pupils and perform related duties. This is a full-time or part-time position in non-exempt status. Requirements: * Must hold a valid Ohio Nurse?s Aide Certificate issued by the State of Ohio, Department of Consumer Affairs and possess a nursing program certificate or an Associate Degree. One to two years experience as a nurse?s aide preferred. The certified nurse?s assistant will be supervised by a credential Ohio School Nurse/RN. *Provides vision and hearing screening (as needed) as part of the assessment process. *A valid Audiometry Credential and CPR training is desirable, but not necessary. *Must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with professional and paraprofessional personnel in carrying out an effective instructional or remediation program. *Must have a working knowledge of modern office technology, equipment and procedures. *Knowledge of Ohio Education Code, Ohio Code of Regulations and Office of Education schools? policies, rules, and regulations regarding programs and pupils. *A valid Ohio driver?s license, automobile insurance with a minimum of $100,000.00 liability coverage, and ability to drive to various sites to provide services a must. *A current background check through the FBI and the BCI must be submitted. Current TB test (within the last 4 years) must be submitted.
