Cancelling Basic Membership

To cancel your free Basic Membership (close your iHire account), visit the membership section in your Account and look for the "cancel basic membership" link listed below your current plan.

If the membership section indicates that you still have Premium Membership access:

  • You will need to cancel your Premium Membership before you are able to cancel your free Basic Membership. Once your Membership Status is listed as cancelled, you have successfully cancelled your Premium Membership and the website will allow you to cancel your free Basic Membership as soon as your Premium Access runs out.

If you have successfully cancelled your Premium Membership but do not want to wait for your Premium Membership term to run out to close your account, submit a request to immediately close your account via our online contact form or by calling Customer Success at 866-238-0161, Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.
