Serve as Speech Language Pathologist in Crawfordsville Community School Corporation - locations TBD
Requirements:
Provide a therapeutic program to meet individual needs of students with disabilities in the areas of speech and language.
Cooperate with classroom teachers and staff members to implement therapy.
Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing and referring suspected and identified speech and language impairments.
Provide screening and/or evaluation to identify speech and language needs for students.
Assist with referrals of students to agencies and specialists as appropriate.
Write, implement and regularly monitor Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students.
Serve a Teacher of Record or Teacher of Service in accordance with Article 7.
Participate in case conference committee meetings as students' teacher to assist in developing measurable goals, benchmarks, and objects to meet student needs.
Provide in-service education and serves as a consultant to teachers and school staff members on topics concerning speech improvement.
Maintain detailed service records
Perform duties related to School Based Medicaid Reimbursement
Perform other reasonably related duties as may be assigned by the director of special education or building principal.
Certification Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Appropriate licensure from IDOE and IPLA
