The successful candidate will play a key and active role in helping elevate Lafayettes presence on the national and international stage.

General responsibilities for this position include managing all aspects of in-person and virtual (online) recruitment work for an assigned territory:

representing the College at college fairs and high school visits;

conducting interviews and group information sessions;

evaluating admissions applications;

developing and tending to relationships with students, parents/guardians and school/community-based organization/independent counselors.

In addition to significant contact with external constituents, the professional in this role will serve on and potentially lead a number of internal teams that advance the larger enrollment divisions cause as an energized and goal-oriented operation.

The successful candidate must hold a bachelors degree, and be willing to travel domestically and possibly internationally. Extended hours during the academic year, including evenings and weekends (when necessary) are the norm. The Team seeks a teammate with an appreciation for the power of a liberal arts education and who can effectively engage students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are expected, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects concurrently. A high level of energy and an excitement for young people and their aspirations for college opportunities are critical components to being successful in this role. A valid drivers license is also required.
