A full-time position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support to Middle School and High School students, covering a maternity leave until June 6, 2025. This role focuses on delivering both direct and indirect speech and language services, ensuring that students receive the necessary guidance and interventions to enhance their communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in K-12 school settings, particularly with middle and high school students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location:
- Muskegon, MI
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech services
- Deliver direct therapy services and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication needs
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development
- Manage a caseload encompassing both middle and high school students
