Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive educational team at a school near Corbett, OR. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with students to address communication challenges and help them develop essential skills for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' success
Provide support for students with articulation, language disorders, fluency, and social communication difficulties
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Oregon SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in school-based settings or with children
Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
