Position Overview:
A K-12 school near Yankton, OR is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their supportive educational team. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to help students develop critical communication skills needed for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write detailed reports
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Address a variety of communication disorders including articulation, fluency, voice, and language
Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress
Collaborate with special education teams, general educators, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Oregon SLP license or ability to obtain
CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings
Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance
