School Based Occupational Therapist Position Kingston, WA

Sunbelt is working with a school district in the Kingston, WA area to hire an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This position is well-suited for a clinician who values teamwork and enjoys helping students improve their ability to engage in daily classroom activities through meaningful, functional therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs

• Conduct assessments using school-appropriate tools and contribute to eligibility determinations

• Design and implement therapy plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory regulation, handwriting, and self-help skills

• Track student progress toward goals and complete all required documentation

• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support skill generalization in the classroom

• Offer classroom strategies and environmental adaptations to enhance student participation

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Washington OT license

• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for a school setting

• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
