Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Jersey City, NJ

This position is based in Jersey City, NJ, and will focus on providing supportive and effective communication strategies to K-12 students during the extended school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist License
• NJ DOE Certification
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly with students with disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and articulation/fluency disorders
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Location:

Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
