Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist Lakewood, Washington

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a significant impact in the lives of students. This position is based in Lakewood, WA, and extends from as soon as possible until the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal.

Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
• Proficient in handling varied caseloads, particularly with students
• Current Washington state license and ESA certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:
Lakewood, WA

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' needs
• Manage a caseload of 48-60 students across two school sites
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and outcomes
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
