A full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an Illinois middle school setting, focusing on a low incidence program. This role involves collaborating with educators and support staff to address the unique communication needs of approximately 20 students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
  • Previous experience with middle school students and low incidence populations is advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain compliance documentation as required
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student needs
