Join our team as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Dwight, IL area, working with students in grades 4-6. This full-time, school-based position spans the entire school year, supporting students' language and communication skills through customized interventions and collaborative partnerships with staff. Help students succeed in an inclusive, engaging academic environment tailored to meet their unique needs. Primary Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify individual student needs.
Design and implement intervention plans for students in grades 4-6, aligned with each student's IEP goals.
Work with school staff and families to ensure successful implementation of strategies in the classroom.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Provide support to teachers and staff on best practices for supporting communication in the classroom.
Required Qualifications Illinois SLP License Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Experience with elementary or intermediate students is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff.
