Orland Park, IL 22 days ago Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract SLP Job Opening | Outside of Chicago | Now - Dec 20, 2024 (Potential Extension to 6/4/2025) Soliant is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position just outside of Chicago . This role has the potential to extend through the end of the school year. If you're passionate about working with special education and general education students, we encourage you to apply. Job Details: Dates : Now - Dec 20, 2024 (with potential extension to 6/4/2025)
Hours : 35 hours/week (7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.)
Location : Meadow Ridge School
Caseload : Will not exceed the State max of 60 students
Population : 80% grades 3-5 special education, 20% grades 3-5 general education
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
Work primarily with intermediate grade special education students
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
Documentation and reporting of progress per school and state standards
Qualifications : Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure in Michigan (MI).
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC-SLP ) is highly preferred.
2 years of school experience preferred.
Proven experience in providing speech and language therapy , with a strong background in working with diverse populations .
