Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for maternity leave coverage in a supportive school district near Carmichael, CA . These are great short-term contract opportunities to work with either elementary students (TK5th) or in a preschool setting , with access to clinical mentorship and ongoing professional support.
Job Details:
Start / End Dates:
First Leave: August 4, 2025 October 31, 2025
Second Leave: August 11, 2025 February 3, 2026
Schedule: Full-time
School Sites Assigned: One site per SLP
Caseloads:
Elementary (TK5th grade): ~55 students
Preschool Caseload: ~20 students at start, growing up to 40
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech/language assessments and student evaluations
Develop, update, and manage IEPs
Provide direct therapy services
Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
Required Qualifications:
Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
