Job Description

Job Summary:

We're on the lookout for a full-time or part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) to join our private practice. You'll be providing individual counseling to clients with various mental health needs in a supportive and flexible work environment. PLPCs get free supervision towards full licensure.

We're particularly keen on candidates with experience or interest in working with children or adolescents - it's a bonus but not a must. We're also especially interested in candidates available to work with couples; experience in this area is required, but not for the role overall.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible schedule with your own caseload, backed by dedicated administration and a team of supportive fellow therapists.
  • Credentialing, billing, and scheduling are fully managed so you can focus on your clinical work without the admin hassle.
  • Free clinical supervision for PLPCs, given consistently to help you meet licensure requirements and enhance your professional skills.
  • Access to a laptop for documentation, telehealth sessions, and other job-related tasks.
  • Supportive, client-focused environment where collaboration and professional growth are valued in a private practice setting.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on licensure, experience, and caseload. PLPCs receive a set per-client rate, with flexibility based on qualifications.

Job Description:

  1. Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop treatment plans.
  2. Administer evidence-based therapy to clients.
  3. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
  4. Participate in regular supervision sessions.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri.
  • Active Provisional License (PLPC).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and licensure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and clinical abilities.
