A local school district near Fillmore, Louisiana, is looking to hire a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. These positions offer comprehensive benefits , competitive pay , and guaranteed hours .

• Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP
• Work with students individually or in small groups on speech, language, fluency, and voice programs
• Assist in screening and assessing students as part of the evaluation process
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and follow district and state guidelines
• Understanding of IEPs and the special education process

• Contract: August 2025 through June 2026
• Full-time, 35-37.5 hours per week

• Active SLPA License in Louisiana
• School based experience is preferred
