Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity exists for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students' communication needs in an engaging elementary school environment. This position is crucial for fostering the development and academic success of children facing speech and language disorders. Location:

Smyrna, DE Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess student needs. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student. Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings. Monitor and document student progress to ensure effective interventions. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals. Actively participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and staff training sessions. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Delaware State licensure or eligibility. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diverse student populations and/or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
