An opportunity exists for a skilled candidate to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is located in White River Junction, VT, and is focused on addressing the diverse needs of approximately 30 students, ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or pending Vermont Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to apply
  • ASHA certification is a plus, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
  • Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs, assessments, and treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students to determine speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
