Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with diverse needs in an engaging K-12 educational environment. This contract position is based in Wilmington, DE, and focuses on an elementary autism caseload, running from July 7, 2025, to August 6, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly with autism
- Familiarity with healthcare settings and school environments
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location: Wilmington, DE
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students on the autism spectrum
- Develop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with educational staff
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions in accordance with best practices
- Participate in orientation and setup days to prepare for the upcoming school term
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
