We have a full-time position available for the 2024-2025 school year at the Berwyn Early Childhood Center. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to young students in a supportive and dynamic environment. Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Berwyn Early Childhood Center, Berwyn, IL Hours: 37.5 hours per week Days: 5 days per week Start Date: August 14, 2024 End Date: June 2, 2025 Caseload: Approximately 20 students Age Range: 3-5 years old School Sites: 1 site Role Overview: Position: Full-time role with responsibilities at a single site. Caseload: Manage a caseload of approximately 20 young children, focusing on individualized therapy. Focus: Deliver personalized therapy to enhance speech and language skills for early childhood students. Key Responsibilities: Therapy Services: Conduct evaluations and provide small group and individual therapy sessions. IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on developing and implementing individualized plans. Assessment & Planning: Perform thorough assessments and create tailored therapy plans. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress. Requirements: Education: Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology. Licensure: Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License. Experience: Previous experience with early childhood education is preferred.
