We have full-time, part-time, and interim positions available for individuals with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and a TN Health License to provide school-based therapy services in Alcoa, TN. To apply, please submit your cover letter, resume, and a copy of your credentials. *Job Summary:* Under the supervision of the School Services Director, TEC Speech Therapists play a crucial role in providing speech and language services to students in our contracted school systems. *General Duties:* - Conduct assessments and provide speech therapy for specified students. - Complete IEP goals and attend meetings. - Collaborate with teachers and school staff to deliver the best possible care. - Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and the LTVEC team. - Build relationships with students to promote a safe and welcoming environment. - Complete required training and document therapy services and plans of care. *Specific Job Responsibilities:* - Conduct screenings and evaluations on students referred for speech services. - Perform ongoing individualized assessments of students with physical therapy needs. - Participate in creating therapy goals and objectives. - Review and implement each student's IEP goals and objectives. - Plan and prepare a written treatment program for each student. - Provide quarterly written progress reports. - Function as an active participant in the transdisciplinary team. - Maintain appropriate student records. - Educate and assist students' families in providing follow-up care. - Attend staff conferences and confer with other team members and consultants. - Communicate with parents in writing as needed. - Supervise the maintenance of classroom and program equipment. - Maintain good public relations with family members, co-workers, and school staff. - Continue professional development by attending workshops and training. - Take detailed notes of services and enter them into Relay. - Educate teachers and families on speech disorders and therapy services. *Minimum Requirements:* - Master's Degree - ASHA Certification - Health License to practice *Preferred Skills:* - Experience in a school setting - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $57,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Continuing education credits * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift Education: * Master's (Preferred) License/Certification: * Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (Required) * TN Health License (Required) Work Location: In person
