Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Professional Education License (PEL)
• CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience working with special education students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language support
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct regular progress evaluations and adjust therapy goals as needed
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements
• Engage in meetings with parents, guardians, and staff to discuss student progress and needs
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
