As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be key to fostering structured communication development and academic participation. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting precise assessments to accurately identify speech and language needs, adhering to established guidelines.
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) , ensuring all goals are clearly defined, measurable, and consistently addressed.
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy services to K-12 students, applying systematic approaches to intervention.
- Collaborating effectively with school personnel and families , facilitating consistent application of communication strategies in all environments.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all services provided, observations, and student progress, ensuring comprehensive records.
- Contributing organized insights and professional recommendations during IEP meetings, presenting data-driven perspectives.
- Rigorously applying evidence-based practices to ensure all therapeutic interventions are standardized and highly effective.
We are seeking a highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented Speech-Language Pathologist who meets these qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
- At least two years of school-based SLP experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with established educational procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills, a strong aptitude for detailed record-keeping, and clear, precise communication abilities.
