Role Description
Full-time remote position serving 37.5 hours weekly with flexible scheduling options. You'll provide essential psychological services to students with suspected learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and other conditions affecting educational performance. Work directly with school teams to ensure students receive appropriate evaluations and services.
Primary Duties
Our school psychologists handle comprehensive case management from initial referral through service implementation. You'll conduct psychological evaluations using standardized assessment tools, analyze results, and prepare detailed reports for multidisciplinary teams. Regular participation in virtual IEP meetings and consultation with school staff are essential components.
Student Population
Serve students ranging from prekindergarten through twelfth grade across multiple school buildings. Typical caseloads include 45-55 students with varying needs from mild learning difficulties to more complex developmental disabilities. Experience working with diverse populations and English language learners beneficial.
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current Ohio school psychologist license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years direct school experience required
- Demonstrated competency in psychological assessment and report writing
- Virtual service delivery experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IDEA regulations and special education processes
Work Environment
Home-based position requiring dedicated workspace suitable for confidential student meetings. Must maintain professional environment for virtual interactions with students, families, and school personnel.
