Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to work in a school-based setting in West Point, Mississippi, for the 20252026 academic year. This contract opportunity will support students across four school sites, focusing on improving physical mobility, access to education, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students with a range of needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals

• Provide direct therapy services during the school day

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school teams to promote student success

• Document services and student progress according to district and state guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal-setting and accommodations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Active PT license in the state of Mississippi (or eligibility)

• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage a flexible caseload across multiple school sites
