Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Opening in School Setting Maywood, IL Area

Role Summary:
The SLP will evaluate students, deliver speech-language therapy, and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team supporting student development. This role includes active involvement in IEP planning and progress monitoring in partnership with educators and families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to determine service needs

• Develop therapy goals aligned with IEPs and implement appropriate interventions

• Provide speech-language therapy in individual and small group formats

• Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with teachers, parents, and specialists

• Offer consultation to school staff on communication strategies and classroom support

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

• Must have an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Knowledge of school-based documentation and compliance standards

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
