About the Role:
The SLP will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels. This role involves direct services, IEP development, and consistent collaboration with educators and families to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech and language disorders
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student communication needs
Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain accurate student records
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for speech-language goals
Support carryover of strategies in the classroom through teacher consultation
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Must hold an active Illinois SLP state teaching license (Professional Educator License with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred

Caseload: K12 students (specific assignment based on district needs)
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
