Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Available School-Based Role Maywood, IL

Position Overview:
The SLP will provide individualized support to students with communication disorders, contribute to the development of IEPs, and work closely with teachers and families to ensure effective service delivery in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students for speech and language impairments using standardized assessments

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with district and state guidelines

• Deliver speech therapy sessions in individual or group formats

• Maintain detailed documentation of services and student progress

• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

• Coordinate with educators, parents, and other support personnel to reinforce therapy strategies in the classroom

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

• Must hold an active Illinois state teaching license with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement (PEL)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Location: Maywood, IL

• Work Type: Full-time, onsite

• Caseload: Ranges across K12 (specific assignment determined by district needs)

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, during school hours
