Hyde Park Day School (HPDS) is seeking a Temporary Occupational Therapist to join our Chicago Campus team in a part-time role covering a medical leave.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, student-centered environment that values innovation, professional development, and compassionate care.

What You'll Do:

As an Occupational Therapist at HPDS, you will:

• Provide therapy services focused on assessment, goal-setting, and individualized intervention plans.

• Support students in developing the functional skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

• Deliver classroom-based instruction on regulation strategies and handwriting.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-including educators, speech pathologists, and social workers-to support each student's unique learning journey.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Certification to practice in the State of Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of therapy best practices and experience with students with learning disabilities.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
