We're seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist who thrives in remote settings and is committed to helping students achieve their communication potential. Position Highlights This remote opportunity offers 37-37.5 hours per week serving a caseload of 45-55 students across elementary through high school programs. You'll address a full spectrum of communication disorders including phonological processes, language comprehension difficulties, stuttering, and voice quality issues through engaging virtual sessions tailored to each student's unique needs. Daily Responsibilities Your role centers on delivering evidence-based speech therapy interventions in the virtual environment. Core duties include conducting comprehensive evaluations, implementing individualized treatment protocols, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and documenting student progress. You'll also provide training to school staff, develop home practice activities, and adapt traditional therapy approaches for digital platforms. Licensure and Education Candidates must hold current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist licensure and maintain active ASHA CCC-SLP certification. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required, supported by a minimum of two years experience in educational environments. Understanding of special education law and IEP processes is essential for success in this role.
