Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and credentialed Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide mentorship and clinical supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFYs) as part of our growing speech and language services team. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting both student outcomes and professional development within the department.

The Supervising SLP will balance a clinical caseload while offering structured guidance, feedback, and support to CFYs as they work toward full licensure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct supervision to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs, in accordance with ASHA and state licensure requirements.

  • Complete required documentation and progress reports to support CFY licensure.

  • Conduct regular observation and feedback sessions, ensuring clinical and professional growth.

  • Serve as a mentor and professional resource for CFYs, offering guidance in case management, documentation, therapy planning, and ethics.

  • Collaborate with school administrators, other related service providers, and special education teams to support a positive and productive work environment.

  • Manage a partial caseload of students, providing direct therapy and evaluations as needed.

  • Ensure clinical services meet district, state, and federal standards.

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-certification clinical experience (school-based experience preferred).

  • Prior experience supervising CFYs or graduate interns is highly preferred.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
