Job Description
A full-time contract opportunity is available for the current and upcoming school years in Escondido, CA where ideal candidates will provide speech-language support for elementary students. The role focuses on serving a mild to moderate population with a caseload capped at 55 students, offering a dynamic environment for professionals dedicated to fostering student communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive IEPs, assessments, and treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services with guaranteed hours.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and specialists to support student progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.
- Active or pending California SLP license, or eligibility to apply for one.
- ASHA certification is highly valued; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
