Position available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a public school setting in Windsor, VT. This is a contract role for the upcoming and current school years, offering full-time hours with potential part-time accommodations. The position includes a caseload of approximately 50 students and involves working closely with educators and families to support student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Provide both direct and indirect speech services to K-12 students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current or pending Vermont SLP license, or eligibility to apply for licensure in Vermont.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory.
- ASHA certification is advantageous; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
