Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Crown Point, IN

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification (CCC) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Crown Point, IN. The focus is on supporting students in grades 6-12, primarily in specialized classrooms across two adjacent schools. This is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide support primarily onsite during regular school hours. Manage a caseload of approximately 58 students, focusing on specialized classroom needs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy. Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the state of Indiana. Proficiency in teletherapy is a plus, though this role is primarily onsite. Candidates under Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered for this opening. Details: Contract duration: August 8, 2025 - May 29, 2026. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:55 PM. Number of positions: 1 full-time SLP onsite. Location: Two neighboring schools serving grades 6-12.
