Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the upcoming and current school years, serving a K-12 caseload with an emphasis on early childhood and elementary students. This role offers a W2 contract with guaranteed hours for both direct and indirect services, providing a structured and supportive environment to deliver essential speech and language therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, treatment, and documentation aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Manage a diverse K-12 caseload, primarily focusing on early childhood and elementary levels.
- Supervise two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active or pending California SLP license, or eligibility to apply for one.
- ASHA certification required.
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage documentation and assessments with accuracy and timeliness.
