School Physical Therapist Vancouver, Washington

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support the needs of students in a K-12 school setting in Vancouver, WA. This part-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners by providing specialized therapeutic services to enhance their physical development and educational experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy evaluations and treatment plans in accordance with student needs and educational goals.
• Collaborate with school staff, including educators and support personnel, to ensure integrated and effective student support.
• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and goals in compliance with regulatory and school district guidelines.
• Participate in meetings as required to discuss student progress and therapy plans.
• Provide services in person on either Wednesday or Thursday, up to 2.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with the appropriate credentials for school-based practice.
• Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Flexibility to work on-site during scheduled hours.
• No sign language skills required; an interpreter will be provided to support communication as needed.
