GENERAL DUTIESThe Teacher promotes and develops successful learning for students, performs instructional andrelated duties in accordance with District Policies and terms of the teacher contract. The Teacheralso maintains a cooperative attitude with staff, parents, and students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSA. A valid State of Oregon Teaching License appropriate for the position with the correct endorsementB. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionC. Hold a valid Oregon Driver's license and reliable transportationD. The ability to follow oral and written instructionsE. The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgroundsF. The ability to work harmoniously with othersG. Proficient oral and written communication skills in EnglishH. Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applicationsI. The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the DistrictJ. Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESA. Cultivate and model a respectful working and learning environmentB. Annually pass the District's required online training by the District's assigned due-dateC. Follow site and/or District protocol for reporting absencesD. Maintain current licenses and/or certificates required for the positionE. Utilize the District's electronic systems and applications related to the jobF. Design and implement appropriate intervention strategies, including a broad array of service delivery models including application of technologyG. Provide information relative to communication disorders to students, parents, teachers, and others as appropriateH. Collaborate with teachers and parents regarding program content and intervention servicesI. Collect student performance data and establish and maintain a daily scheduleJ. Monitor the effectiveness of the interventionK. Implement requirements of Federal and State regulationsL. Maintain records and reports required by District, State, and Federal agenciesM. Cooperate with various agencies in referring and providing appropriate reciprocal servicesN. Analyze and forecast need for servicesO. Provide services either directly or through consultation as listed on the student's IEPP. Write IEP goals and objectives as necessary for the student on an IEP who requires services from an SLPQ. Participate as an effective member of the Student Study TeamR. Collect appropriate student performance data for determining the extent to which student IEP goals and objectives are achievedS. Perform duties and expectations of a Case ManagerT. Partner and collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure IEP is implementedU. Provide instruction and direction to assigned instructional assistants ensuring delivery of instructional servicesV. Maintain all equipment identified in the I.E.P. for students
