Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Pittston, PA

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and school settings. This position supports students in an elementary school environment located in Pittston, PA, for a leave contract running from September 10, 2025, through January 15, 2026. Position Details: Location: Elementary and High School campus in Pittston, PA Contract Type: Leave, full-time Work Schedule: 5 days per week Daily Hours: Either 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., depending on assignment, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to approximately 65 students combined at two buildings (55 students in grades K-6 and 10 students in 9th grade) Address a variety of speech and language disorders, providing services to students with Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), Emotional Disturbances (ED), and Intellectual Disabilities (ID) Utilize teletherapy techniques as applicable to meet diverse student needs Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop tailored treatment plans that enhance communication skills and academic performance Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and healthcare settings Proficiency in providing teletherapy services Familiarity with school-based speech and language programs Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or equivalent This role offers a rewarding chance to impact the lives of students by supporting their communication development during a critical time.
