Job Description
READS Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program (DHH)
DHH Classrooms located in Norton Public Schools and Bristol-Plymouth Regional Vocational High School
Candidate will conduct comprehensive initial and 3 -year speech and language evaluations, for Deaf students and students with hearing loss, in ASL (with ASL interpreter support if needed) or preferred mode of communication; develop the evaluation report; share results and interpretation with families and school personnel; and consult as need to staff and students of DHH program.
Candidate will contribute to IEP development and implementation.
Candidate will provide direct services to students in DHH according to their IEP.
Candidate will supervise SLPAs according to ASHA guidelines.
Candidate will consult to school districts, provide direct service to students in districts and facilitate parent groups as directed.
Candidate will provide professional development to staff and families as directed.
Position Type:Full-time
Salary:$60,000 to $100,000 Per Year
