Job Posting: Speech Language Pathologist (2025-2026 School Year)

Location: Near Wood Dale, Illinois

Position Type: Full-Time (In-Person)

Schedule: 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week

Caseload: PreK-8th Grade (Approx. 25-30 students)

Birch Agency is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, in-person position for the 2025-2026 school year. The SLP will work with a diverse PreK-8th grade caseload and play a vital role in helping students improve their communication skills in a supportive educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25-30 students

Conduct evaluations and write comprehensive reports

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Professional Educator License (PEL) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Previous school-based experience is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills
