A school in Rockford, Illinois is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team in a full-time, onsite position. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

Position Summary:
The SLP will provide diagnostic evaluations, individualized therapy, and ongoing progress monitoring for students with communication needs. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure each student receives appropriate support based on their IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted therapy services aligned with student IEPs

• Conduct assessments and generate comprehensive evaluation reports

• Collaborate with school staff and families on student progress and needs

• Document service delivery and outcomes in compliance with district expectations

• Provide carryover strategies for classroom generalization

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service planning

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Valid Illinois teaching license for SLPs (ISBE-issued)

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

• Previous school experience is beneficial

• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
