Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity Public School Setting Phoenix, AZ

A school district in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their special education team. This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about supporting students communication skills and contributing to a collaborative school-based environment.

Position Summary:
The SLP will provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with staff and families to support students with speech and language needs. This is a hands-on role where youll make a meaningful impact on student success through targeted intervention and ongoing communication strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare evaluation reports

• Provide therapy services as outlined in students IEPs

• Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines

• Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families to support communication goals

• Offer input during IEP meetings and support classroom implementation of strategies

• Promote functional communication skills across academic settings

Minimum Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Arizona SLP teaching license (issued by the Department of Education)

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

• Strong collaboration, organization, and documentation skills

• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
