Occupational Therapist K-12 Schools Boston, MA
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support K-12 students in an onsite school setting in Boston, MA. This contract role spans the full school year, providing the opportunity to deliver specialized therapy to enhance student development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and progress.
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate caseload records, and ensure compliance with school and state regulations.
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
- Proven professional experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently within a dynamic school environment.
