Speech-Language Pathologist Job

We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Providence, RI. As an SLP, you will be supported by a team of experienced professionals while gaining valuable hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders in children. Requirements: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Active or Pending. Rhode Island SLP License

Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to track student progress and ensure effective communication.
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and assist in developing goals and objectives for students.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active or pending state SLP License.
• Completion of supervised clinical practicum.
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with educational staff.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
