A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to support the needs of students at an elementary school in Battle Ground, WA. This role is ideal for a skilled PT professional who is passionate about working with children in an educational setting and aims to promote their physical development and well-being throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals with educational objectives.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to improve mobility, coordination, balance, and motor skills.
- Monitor student progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations for student care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student performance and adaptations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials appropriate for practice in Washington State.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment.
