A healthcare-focused role is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are passionate about supporting K-12 students through innovative teletherapy and in-person services. This contract position is located in Port Saint Lucie, FL, within a dynamic educational setting serving grades K-12. There are six openings, with opportunities to select specific grade levels and accommodate full-time or part-time schedules.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required for SLP applicants
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Candidates with teletherapy expertise are encouraged to apply
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs welcome
- SLPAs with school or healthcare experience may apply, but placement contingent upon assignment with an SLP
- Ability to work with K-12 students in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students via teletherapy and/or in-person sessions
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare teams to design and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
- Engage with families to support student progress and provide resources
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs across developmental stages
