A K-12 school in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, contract position over the next school year. This role is ideal for an SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those open to completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as supervision will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 31 students from preschool through grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required evaluations
- Ensure compliance with school and state speech therapy regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Ohio
- CCC from ASHA preferred; new graduates open to CFY with supervision provided
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Schedule and Location:
- Part-time, 28 hours per week
- No sessions on Fridays
- Contract runs for the full school year
