A K-12 educational setting in Bradenton, FL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with children and adolescents to support their speech and language development throughout the academic year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Providing targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
- Carefully tracking and documenting progress for each student
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care
- Engaging families and providing education to support therapy outcomes
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Preferably hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
It is required that candidates hold an active state license approved by the respective State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and have completed or be in the process of completing a Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
