**Schedule:** This is a full time position and follows a 9 month school schedule

**Pay:** $100,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience with sign on bonus!

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a school setting. The SLP or SLPA will provide therapy services to children with speech, language, communication, and related disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals and committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment.

**Responsibilities for Speech Language Pathologist**

_Assessment and Evaluation:_ Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and determine students eligibility for services.

_Treatment Planning:_ Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans based on evaluation results, student needs, and school goals.

_Therapy Delivery:_ Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on speech sound production, language development, fluency, voice, and communication needs.

_Collaboration:_ Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills in the classroom and at home.

_Documentation:_ Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, IEPs, and assessments in compliance with school policies and state regulations.

_Supervision:_ If applicable, supervise the work of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and other support staff.

_Professional Development:_ Stay updated on current practices, research, and regulations in speech-language pathology, and participate in school-based professional development activities.

**Qualifications for the Speech-Language Pathologist:**

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Current state licensure and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC-SLP).

Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

Understanding of special education laws, including IDEA and IEP processes.
