This full-time occupational therapy position offers an opportunity to support students in a K-12 charter school setting located in Hayward, CA. The role involves providing direct OT services onsite across two campuses situated less than 10 minutes apart. The assignment covers approximately 30 students with varying needs, ranging from mild learning disabilities to more extensive support requirements. Therapy goals include fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other developmental areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Provide therapy across two campuses within the district, traveling between sites while on the clock
- Document and manage caseload reporting according to district guidelines
- Participate in paid team meetings and administrative time as offered
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in home health, healthcare, or school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and educational staff
Schedule & Location:
- Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite work exclusively at two Hayward, California campuses
